Statement of Purpose

People naturally avoid thoughts or discussions of physical death and the taboos the Victorians placed on sex have been transferred to the subject of death in our society.   Our objective is to explore the issues to consider, based upon the teachings Bible, and the importance of serious planning for eternal life by each individual. 

• From Now to Eternity
  Now is the Time to select where you will spend Forever.  On earth will have many choices, but in the hereafter there are only two.  While you live, the choice is yours.  However, once you have passed from this world, you will not be able to escape the consequences, if the wrong choice is made.  Make no mistake; you will not inadvertently end up in paradise.  Jesus assured us that He arrange a place for His people, who were willing to prepare themselves to be acceptable for their place in Heaven.
   

• Planning for Eternity
  We are all encouraged to plan for future events in our lives, such as the education of our
  children, our retirement and our final resting place.  Why then is not the discussion and
  planning of where one will spend eternity, after we die, of much greater importance? 
  Death is not only the end of our moral lives, but the beginning of our immoral spiritual lives,
  which last for all eternity

A Message To Current Members Of The Church Of Christ Planning Their Retirement

Lake Eufaula is a Great Place To Retire.

Our Congregation Needs You. 

We are located near highway 69, just 25 miles north of McAlester, Oklahoma, nestled on the shores of Lake Eufaula.  The village of Eufaula is a wonderful place to live, work, and play. You don't have to look very far to find a friendly face and a warm smile. 

Lake Eufaula is a great fishing lake (the largest in Oklahoma) with good hunting in the area. 

Property taxes are quite low and quality housing can be purchased at very reasonable prices. 

We are a stable, conservative, main-line mission church.  Charlie Bailey, our full time Minister, has served the congregation, since 1989. 

We need sound workers to retire in our area to help in the work of the Master.  Come and visit to get acquainted.  Spend a few days vacation and get to know us.
